Description

The Ravenstone Sweater with its vertical texture adds length along the body for this striking ribbed sweater designed by Sarah Hatton.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Arranmore Light (80% Merino wool, 10% cashmere, 10% silk, 300 m (328 yd) per 100g hank) in shade Ciaran – 5 [5: 5: 6: 6: 6] hanks.

Construction notes:

Worked in pieces, with raglan shaping, this structured garment is a little more polished as a result. Strong geometric shapes make the pattern easy to memorize with regular repeats. The feeling of length is continued by a hem that sits comfortably on the hips, without any bulk thanks to the DK weight this pattern calls for.

Recommended ease:

Designed to be worn with 20–25 cm (8–10 in) of positive ease.

Gauge:

24 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over patt using 4mm (US 6) needles.
