This pattern is also available as a kit, that includes the pattern PDF and 10–18 balls of &Make DK yarn.
Yarn:
The Fibre Co. &Make DK (55% Highland wool, 35% alpaca, 10% linen, 125 m (137 yd) per 50 g ball) in shade Surf’s Up – 10 (11, 11, 13, 14) (15, 16, 17, 18) balls.
Construction notes:
The Recharge Sweater is worked in the round from the bottom up to the underarm divide. The chest and shoulders are then worked flat, adding shaping to the shoulders with German Short Rows. Shoulders are joined with a Three-Needle Cast-Off. Sleeve stitches are picked up in the round and worked top down. The body and sleeves are worked in an all-over Garter Rib Stitch with both the body and sleeve cuff hems featuring an Eyelet Rib and stockinette rolled hem. The sleeve cuffs have an additional section of 1x1 ribbing between the Eyelet Rib and rolled hem for an improved fit around the wrist. The neckband stitches are picked up last and worked in stockinette stitch to create a rolled hem around the neck.
