Trillium Lake Scarf Kit

Trillium Lake Scarf is a beautiful minimalist project with deceptively simple details. Perfect for knitters who want to try out a bit of simple lacework in a luxury yarn, this project only requires one skein of our beautifully crisp Meadow yarn. The easy eyelet lace stitch pattern is complimented with a stockinette stitch background which frames the garter stitch body. The construction starts with just three stitches and is worked top-down, with a couple of fun short-row sections that make it long and narrow.

Once completed, the scarf can be worn in various styles around the neck or draped over the shoulders as a long, narrow shawlette. It is versatile for many seasons, including cool summer evenings paired with a summery dress, linen skirt or pants, and cute sandals.

Needles and notions required:

• 4mm (US 6) 70–80 cm (29–32 in) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) – for the main body of the shawl
• 3.75mm (US 5) 70–80 cm (29–32 in) circular needle (or size to obtain gauge) – for the finishing band
• Stitch markers (2 inline and 4 locking)
• Yarn needle – to weave in ends
