A wardrobe essential that you will love for a long time, South Head is a rectangular shawl using contrasting blocks of reversible stitches. Wear it around your neck on a breezy beach walk or wrap it around your shoulders on a chilly Summer’s evening. Addictive eyelets alternate with soothing garter stitch to create a very relaxing knitting experience in Canopy Fingering.

Yarn:

The Fibre Co. Canopy Fingering (50% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 20% viscose from bamboo, 183 m (200 yd) per 50g hank) in shade Cloud Forest – 6 hanks.

Gauge:

20 sts and 42 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over garter stitch st after blocking using 3.25 mm (US 3) needles.
20 sts and 40 rows to 10 cm (4 in) measured over eyelet st after blocking using 3.00 mm (US 2.5) needles.

Sizes and measurements:

47 x 170 cm (18.75 x 67 in)
