About Forbidden Cliffs Tee

This easy-to-wear tee features a simple mosaic colour work pattern around a wide crew neckline. Designed by Kay Hopkins and knit in our Amble yarn the inspiration for the design comes from the Forbidden Cliffs of the central Oregon Coast in America. It is knit top-down and worked seamlessly with a circular yoke that transitions into raglan shaping for the best fit.

Kit contains:

  • PDF of Forbidden Cliffs Tee pattern
  • 3 (3, 3, 3, 3, 4)(4, 4, 5, 5, 6) full skeins of the main colour and 1 (1, 1, 1, 1, 1)(2, 2, 2, 2, 2) mini skeins of the contrast colour in The Fibre Co. Amble
  • Free Project Bag from The Fibre Co.

Colours:

The photos show the sweater in two colourways, one with the MC of White Heather and CC of Eden Valley and the other with the MC of Red Screes and the CC of White Heather. Choose any shade combination of Amble as shown above.

XS (S, S2, M, M2, L)(L2, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL)
Finished chest measurements: 32.5 (33.5, 36, 38.5, 40.25, 42.75)(46.5, 49.25, 51, 55.5, 60.25) inches / 82.5 (85, 91.5, 98, 102, 108.5)(118, 125, 129.5, 141, 153) cm.

Recommended ease:

Designed to be worn with 5 cm (2 in) positive ease at bust.

You will also need:

  • Larger (Main) – 3.25mm (US 3) 40 cm (16 in) and 70-80 cm (29–32 in) circular needles and set of DPNs (or your preferred method of circular knitting on small circumference for sleeves)
  • Smaller – 2.75mm (US 2)  70-80 cm (29–32 in) circular needles and set of DPNs (or your preferred method of circular knitting on small circumference for sleeves)
  • Stitch markers
  • Tapestry needle
