Moen can be worked as a close fitting neck warmer or a longer infinity cowl, and both sizes are perfect for cold and wintry weather. With a soft chunky yarn, this seemingly intricate cowl knits up quickly at either size – perfect for last minute gifts.
YARN:
The Fibre Co. Tundra (60% baby alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% silk, 109m (120 yd) per 100g hank) Long version in Northern Lights – 3 hanks.
Short version in Silver Wolf – 2 hanks.
NEEDLES:
US 10 (6.0 mm) 16 (24)” or 40 (60) cm circular, or SIZE NEEDED TO GET GAUGE.
TENSION/GAUGE:
171⁄2 stitches & 19.25 rounds = 4″ (10 cm) in cable pattern.
GARMENT MEASUREMENTS:
Circumference: approximately 22 (49.25)” or 56 (125.5) cm
