Oles Kit

About Oles

Designed by Belen Fernandez Oles is a top-down jumper, knit in the round. After the neckline, short rows are added to raise the back and increases are worked at either side of the sleeves. Then sleeves and body are separated. You continue working on the body and later pick up the stitches left on hold for the sleeves and knit those from the underarm to the cuff. Colourful short-row stripes are added throughout.

• 3 (3, 4, 4) [4, 5, 5] full-size hanks of Lore for the main colour and 1 mini hank of Lore for each of the 3 contrasting colours

The photos show the sample in Kit swatch 1: MC – Confident, C1 – Happiness, C2 – Gentle and C3 – Heaven.

Recommended ease

Designed with 10-15 cm (4-6 in) of positive ease at the bust circumference

You will also need:

• 4 mm (US6) circular needles for the body and sleeves (adjust if necessary to achieve gauge)
• 3.75mm (US5) circular needles for the ribbing (or a size smaller than the main needles)
• 4 markers in different colours (A-D) for the raglan increases and a special marker for BOR
• Tapestry needle and waste yarn for putting the sleeve stitches on hold
