The planets align in perfect orbit around the yoke of this lovely sweater. Lines, dashes, and dollops of colour playfully encircle the collar, and the seamless, top-down construction makes for a simple knit. Designer Melanie Berg says, ‘When you use Amble by The Fibre Co., the wonderfully soft fabric will make for a sweater you’ll love to live in.’

• PDF of Planetary knitting pattern by Melanie Berg
• 4 [4: 4: 5: 5: 5] full skeins of the main colour and 6 mini skeins of The Fibre Co. Amble
• Free Project Bag from The Fibre Co.

Colours:

The original sample made by Melanie uses Amble in the shade Fair Hill for the MC with 6 contrasting shades in the yoke. Choose from any colour combination as shown above.

Recommended ease:

5 – 10 cm (2 -4 in) of positive ease at bust. Photos show size 2 on a 94 cm (37 in) bust model.

You will also need:

• 3.5mm (US 4) circular needles for the sweater
• 3.25mm (US 3) double-pointed needles
• 3.25mm (US 3) circular needles for the ribbing
• Stitch marker
• Stitch holders
• Tapestry needle
