Description
Lingholm is a cape-length oval shawl, knitted from the back of the neck outwards, incorporating raglan shaping for a beautiful fit on the shoulders. Using a flowing series of contrasting textural lace stitches and eyelets meant to showcase the luxurious yarn used to knit it, Lingholm is a soft-as-a-feather accessory which will keep you surprisingly warm. Originally designed by Hiroko Payne in the now discontinued Road to China Lace, this beautiful shawl has been reimagined in The Fibre Co.’s Meadow. The delicate edging makes use of short rows to create a subtle hi-lo hemline. The shawl is knit in stocking stitch lace with a small amount of work to be done on WS rows.
