About You & Me (Child)

The You & Me Child is a super sweet pullover for children aged between 2 and 12 years of age. The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down, with a stranded colourwork pattern in the yoke. It is knit in fingering weight, so that little bodies aren’t swamped by thicker yarns.  Make it with the adult version of the pattern for matchy-matchy goodness!

Colours:

The photos show the original design in the Canopy Fingering shade Orchid as the Main Colour and Lantana as the contrasting colour. Choose from any of the shades shown above for MC and CC.

To fit a chest circumference of: 53 [58: 64: 67: 71: 75] cm (21 [23: 25: 26.5: 28: 29.5] in)

Garment chest circumference (at underarm): 61 [64.5: 68.5: 74: 78.5: 81] cm (24 [25.5: 27: 29: 31: 32] in)

Recommended ease

Designed with 4 – 8 cm (1.5 – 3 in) of positive ease at chest circumference.

You will also need:

• 2.75mm (US 2) circular needles, 30cm (12 in) for hem
• 2.75mm (US 2) DPNs or long circular needles (for magic loop), to work cuffs
• 3.25mm (US 3) 30 cm (12in) and 60 cm (24 in) circular needles for yoke and body
• 3.25mm (US 3) DPNs or long circular needle (for magic loop) to work sleeves
  Waste yarn
• 1 stitch marker
• Darning needle
